Job summary

Merck is seeking an experienced professional to manage contracts and budgets for clinical research across multiple sites. You will prepare, analyze, negotiate, and revise agreements and related documents through all contract cycle phases.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with CRM, CRA, and site staff to ensure on-time start-up and compliance with ICH-GCP and country regulations. Remote-friendly, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years negotiating contracts or budgets.
• JD degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, negotiate, and execute site agreements and budgets (CTRA, MCTRA, CDA, MCDA, IRAG, MFS, FUA).
• Maintain contracts, approvals, and budgets databases.
• Coordinate with CRM, CTC, CRA, COM-R for site-ready deliverables.
• Lead relationships with investigative sites and Site Management Organizations.
• Develop local SOPs and review site access forms and EMR policies.
