Job summary

Merck seeks a Contracts & Budget Lead for Clinical Research to manage site agreements, budgets, and related documentation while ensuring compliance with ICH/GCP and country regulations. You will coordinate with CRM, CRA, CTC-Fs, and other stakeholders to mitigate risks and drive timely deliverables.

Required is a Bachelor's degree or higher with 3+ years of contract/budget negotiation; JD preferred. This role offers remote/flexible work arrangements within the US and may involve travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience negotiating contracts or budgets.
• JD degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, negotiate, and execute required site agreements and associated budgets including CTAs, MCTRAs, CDAs, MCDA, IRAG, MFS, FUA, and related documents.
• Utilize legal fallback language and budget parameters, escalate site-specific issues failing guidelines for review.
• Maintain database and files for all contracts, approvals, and budgets.
• Lead timelines and ensure timely execution of site agreements; perform quality control checks prior to execution.
