Job summary

Allied Benefit Systems, based in Chicago, IL, seeks an Associate Client Executive to manage a portfolio of client relationships, drive retention and growth, and serve as the primary liaison for those accounts. This client-focused role emphasizes service excellence and proactive communication with employers and members.

You will lead renewal processes, present products and services, handle RFPs, and collaborate with underwriting and account management to ensure timely, accurate responses.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in an account management role.
• Experience with Group health insurance and self-funded health plans preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewal processes, collaborating with account management and underwriting for renewals on the assigned book of business.
• Position and showcase products, rates, stop loss, and expanded product portfolios to increase sales and maximize revenue.
• Process receipts and prepare RFPs to send to underwriting and stop loss vendors.
• Perform routine operational tasks associated with evaluating an RFP (e.g., disruption).
• Act as a client-facing representative, providing support during open enrollments and conducting open enrollment presentations.
• Assist in resolving routine problems by coordinating with departments and the Account Manager.
• Help facilitate renewals by managing claim reviews, stop loss marketing, and service level expectations.
• Produce and analyze ad hoc reporting on request from client/broker/Account Executive.
