Job summary

Baker Botts is seeking a Client Billing Coordinator to join the Financial Services - Client Billing team. This fully remote role supports the Client Billing Manager and helps ensure accurate and timely client billing across the firm.

You will manage the billing cycle, supervise staff in multiple offices, and collaborate with Rates Control to maintain rate structures. The position emphasizes confidentiality, strong communication, and reliable delivery of prebills and invoices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a legal or accounting environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage client billing from start to finish, including processing invoices and prebills.
• Distribute monthly prebills and reports and generate final invoices.
• Maintain accurate billing records and matter information in the billing system.
• Coordinate electronic invoicing and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare aging receivable reports and respond to client-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with Rates Control to update rate structures and cost exceptions.
• Escalate unresolved issues and identify workflow improvements.
• Oversee staff offsite locations and ensure adherence to firm policies.
