Job summary

Gallagher seeks an experienced Claims Supervisor for its Workers’ Compensation claims team. This remote California-based role requires leadership, technical oversight, and operational guidance to ensure claims are managed in line with company standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive claims experience and strong coaching abilities. Responsibilities include supervising examiners, reviewing investigations, and delivering training on labor

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 10+ years of related claim experience.
• Appropriately licensed/certified in all states where claims are handled or able to obtain licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical guidance to Claims Examiners and staff.
• Ensure claims are managed per policies and best practices.
• Review investigations, settlements, reserve changes within authority levels.
• Monitor complex claims and conduct file audits.
• Lead training on labor code changes and client procedures.
• Support client claim reviews and departmental initiatives.
