Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Claims Supervisor for a remote position based in California. You will supervise a team of P&L claims examiners, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality claims handling and client satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma along with 10+ years of Property & Casualty claims experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Might require licensing in multiple states and offers growth opportunities within a global organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 10 years related claim experience required.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled or able to obtain licenses per local requirements.
• Minimum of five (5) years Property & Casualty liability claims experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist directly with client questions, concerns and issues.
• Handle personal claim file caseload as assigned.
• Assist with balancing Examiner pending files.
• Review Examiner work product and reserve adequacy for accuracy.
• Review Examiner billable hours for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Clients/Account Executives/Account Managers to schedule and conduct claim file reviews.
• Attend client meetings such as JPA and ensure claims are listed on agendas.
• Review Examiner write ups for JPA meetings for technical correctness and readability.
• Approve advance/special invoices and review monthly trust account invoicing.
• Monitor trust account balances and review monthly loss runs.
