Job summary

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. is seeking a senior claims leader to supervise a liability claims team, guide operations, and drive hiring and training for performance improvement.

The role supports a fully remote work arrangement with jurisdictional experience preferred and a strong emphasis on best-practice compliance. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of claims experience, proper licensing in relevant states, and a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
• Knowledge of all team member related functions

Responsibilities

• Supervise a liability claims team handling a variety of caseload sizes and complexities to deliver high-quality and efficient service.
• Guide claims team to handle claims in accordance with GB's Best Practices.
• Take charge of adjuster hiring and training, encouraging a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Harness Gallagher's technology to enhance your team's efficiency and overall quality of service.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.
• Effectively manage multiple competing priorities and position team members for development.
