Job summary

First American Home Warranty is hiring for a remote Customer Service role within a call center environment. You will respond to high volumes of inquiries, research account information, and coordinate with contractors to resolve home warranty claims while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 2+ years in customer service, with strong knowledge of home warranty policies and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a contact center environment.
• Strong understanding of home warranty policies and technical aptitude with systems and appliances.
• Ability to present data clearly and concisely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and manage difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned caseload from investigation through resolution.
• Make decisions and authorize work orders up to a set level.
• Identify issues, analyze claim and work order facts, and document pertinent information.
• Handle inbound calls, emails, and voicemails promptly per guidelines.
• Explain terms of claim options and process payments.
