Job summary

First American Home Warranty is seeking a customer service professional to handle high-volume calls in a remote, national setting. You will investigate claims, coordinate with technicians and homeowners, and explain claim options while delivering outstanding service.

The role requires 2+ years in a contact center and strong knowledge of Home Warranty policies, with Spanish language ability as a plus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and stock purchase plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience in a contact center.
• Knowledge of Home Warranty policies and appliance tech.
• Ability to present data clearly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to handle difficult customers.
• Microsoft Office and company systems knowledge.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an assigned caseload from the investigation of the claim through resolution.
• Make decisions and authorize work orders up to a set level.
• Identify issues, analyze claim and work order facts, gather, review, research and document pertinent information.
• Take reports from technicians and homeowners.
• Answer incoming calls, emails and voicemails in a timely manner and according to guidelines.
• Provide homeowners with all relevant information pertaining to contract, claim or work order.
• Offer and explain terms and conditions of claim options, denial, cash out, replacement, reimbursement and process payments.
