Job summary

Great American Insurance Group’s Strategic Comp division is hiring a Claims Operations Associate II for a remote, work-from-home role serving workers’ compensation claims professionals. You will support claim setup, file maintenance, correspondence, and inquiries while upholding high standards of service.

Based in the Mountain or Central Time Zone, you will work 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in claims operations/claims processing or related insurance administrative role.
• Experience supporting workers' compensation adjusters or claims professionals preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be located within Mountain or Central Time Zone and able to work standard business hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to workers' compensation adjusters by managing claim-related administrative activities.
• Set up and maintain claim files, ensuring information is entered accurately and updated in a timely manner.
• Verify coverage, process claim-related transactions, and support payment and financial processing activities.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and voicemail, resolving routine issues and escalating complex matters as appropriate.
• Coordinate information gathering, schedule appointments, and support claim file development.
• Assist with litigation support by organizing and providing required claim documentation.
• Maintain organized workloads and activities through claims platforms like ClaimConnect, ClaimCenter, OpsNow, and Outlook.
