Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Claims Operations Associate II to provide essential administrative support for workers' compensation claims. You will set up and maintain claim files, verify coverage, and handle routine inquiries to help adjusters move files forward.

You will work remotely from within the Mountain or Central Time Zone, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims operations or a related insurance administrative role.
• Experience supporting workers' compensation adjusters or claims professionals preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be located in Mountain or Central Time Zone and work standard business hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to workers' compensation adjusters by handling claim-related administrative activities.
• Set up and maintain claim files with accurate information in systems.
• Verify coverage, process claim-related transactions, and support payment activities.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and voicemail, resolving routine issues.
• Coordinate outreach to collect information and support claim file development.
• Assist with litigation support by organizing required claim documentation.
• Maintain organized workloads through systems like ClaimConnect, ClaimCenter, OpsNow, Outlook.
• Support data management processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with adjusters and internal/external contacts to facilitate claim handling.
