Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to interpret contracts and apply terms.
• Capable of handling sensitive escalated complaints.
• Detail-oriented with solid documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters and deadlines.
• Judgment to escalate when risk is high.
• Ability to learn state regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and respond to complex or escalated claims and complaints.
• Review claim histories, communications, service records, and contracts.
• Assess coverage decisions against contract terms.
• Investigate liability and subrogation matters with related parties.
• Prepare written responses to customers, attorneys, regulators, and others.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external providers to resolve matters.
• Represent the company in small claims court when required and travel may be involved.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulatory requirements for claims handling.
• Document investigations, findings, and resolutions clearly.
