Job summary

Encova Insurance is offering a full-time summer internship for 2027, with a 40-hour work week. Preference for hybrid or Charleston, WV office, with remote options within approved payroll states. You must be enrolled and have completed at least 60 college credits.

The program recognizes RI SE Elite Top 50, offering learning across claims intake, loss reporting, and customer service in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Position is a full-time summer internship for 2027 summer.
• Experience in customer service and/or claims intake is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive initial claim information from customers via multiple channels.
• Provide information on loss reporting options and coverage.
• Document facts of loss and triage required actions.
• Assist in onboarding new associates with leadership team.
• Support the Engagement Center with calls and correspondence.
