Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Claims Examiner for a remote position based in California. You will handle liability and property damage claims to resolution, coordinating with counsel and keeping clients informed to ensure cost-effective outcomes.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 5 years of related claims experience, with state licenses or ability to obtain them. Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills are essential in our collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled or able to obtain licenses per local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned claims within guidelines and communicate with clients.
• Prepare responses and investigation assignments; direct attorneys on litigated files.
• Monitor reserves and subrogation potential; provide timely reports to reinsurers.
• Maintain accurate data and assist in client file reviews; attend mediations as required.
