Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5 years related claims experience required.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled or able to obtain licenses per local requirements.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned claims and manage liability and property damage cases.
• Prepare response letters within required timelines and coordinate investigations.
• Direct attorneys on litigated files to control defense costs.
• Monitor reserves and report to reinsurers and internal committees.
• Respond to client inquiries and maintain accurate data in the system.
• Attend mediation or other meetings to facilitate settlement.
