Qualifications

• High school diploma and 7 years related experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life cycle of complex general liability claims.
• Analyze coverage, investigations, damages, and settlement strategies.
• Prepare timely reports for reinsurers and JPAs.
• Direct defense counsel, control litigation costs, attend mediations.
• Pursue subrogation opportunities and adjust reserves.
• Draft coverage letters and negotiate settlements.
• Provide guidance to junior adjusters and support file reviews.
• Maintain a minimum billing productivity of 80% daily.
