Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Insurance designation and/or MBA desired.
• Minimum 15 years of commercial general liability and specialty lines claims experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper claim handling strategies and coverage determinations.
• Reserve properly in line with policy.
• Manage litigation with defense counsel and experts.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations/arbitrations/trials.
• Prepare large loss reports, reinsurance and trial alerts.
• Analyze claim reports to identify trends and address adverse developments.
