Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Team Lead - General Liability to supervise multiple teams of examiners and staff across liability claims for diverse clients. The role emphasizes training, direction on adjudication, and maintaining diaries and proper documentation on complex claims.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification as applicable.
• Six (6) years of claims experience with two (2) years as supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical operations colleagues.
• Identifies trends, informs management, and suggests action for improvements.
• Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims.
• Reviews reserves on high-cost claims and those beyond individual authority.
• Maintains client relationships and provides claim resumés as requested.
