Tokio Marine HCC - Public Risk Group is seeking a self-motivated Claims Attorney to join our Casualty Claims team. The role focuses on litigated and non-litigated claims under Auto, General Liability, and related policies, with potential Law Enforcement, Public Officials, and Employment Practices exposure across jurisdictions.

You will work with a senior team member, review policies, and develop strategies for resolution while obtaining adjuster licenses within six months.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) is required.
• Minimum five years of relevant legal experience with two or more years in claims handling.
• Active Adjuster’s License or plan to obtain within six months.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Interpret coverage and collaborate with outside counsel on claims.
• Investigate, analyze liability and damages exposure.
• Draft and issue coverage position letters and develop resolution strategies.
• Maintain claim files in accordance with policy and procedure, establish reserves.
