Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC - Public Risk Group is seeking a Claims Attorney to handleAuto and General Liability claims for municipal entities. The role involves coverage interpretation, coordination with outside counsel, and building strategies for resolution in a fast-paced team.

You will review policies across jurisdictions, establish reserves, and advance your career in casualty claims with licensing goals within six months. Hybrid/remote work available."

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.
• Minimum five years of legal experience; two+ years in claims handling preferred.
• Active Adjuster’s License or plan to obtain within six months.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Interpret coverage and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Investigate, analyze liability and damages exposure, draft coverage letters.
• Establish reserves and maintain claim files per policy and procedure.
• Work with limited supervision while reporting to senior Casualty/Litigation management.
