Job summary

OWL Services LLC is seeking a Civil Estimator to develop and oversee civil construction estimates for EV charging installation projects across the United States. The role requires interpreting drawings, specs, and bid documents to produce accurate, competitive estimates.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of civil estimation experience, familiarity with RSMeans and PlanSwift, and CAD proficiency is a plus. Travel up to 20% is expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience on civil construction projects.
• Experience with RSMeans and PlanSwift.
• CAD experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
• Develop detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for civil scopes.
• Prepare competitive project proposals and bid documents.
• Identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, and project risks.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Develop labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor pricing.
