it's electric is seeking a Project Engineer based in Philadelphia for a fully remote role. The candidate will manage curbside charging deployments, assess sites, design and stamp permit drawings, and coordinate with utilities and authorities. Strong N.E.C. and safety code familiarity is required, with 5–10 years in electrical engineering.

Licensed PE strongly preferred; EIT acceptable. AutocAD/Bluebeam experience is valued. Travel to local meetings or HQ may be needed occasionally.

Qualifikationen

• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with complex urban design/build projects, preferably in urban rights-of-way.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems in cities and buildings.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC) and National Electric Safety Code.

Aufgaben

• Overall project management for charger deployments.
• Site assessment including available power capacity.
• Project design and engineering with drawings and specifications.
• Signing and stamping permit drawings to local authorities.
• Coordination with local permit authorities and utilities.
• Contractor bid and award.
• Construction administration and coordination.
• Evolving and expanding company-wide technical and strategic standards.
• Evaluate alternative methods to reduce charger installation cost and time.
• Management of technical sub-consultants.
• Coordination with it's electric project managers and designers across regions.
• Representation of it's electric at site visits, public hearings, and community board events.
