Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a Civil Engineering intern to join the Civil & Survey team in New Haven, CT. The 12-week paid summer program provides real client project experience and exposure to site design work.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher, and are comfortable with CAD software and MS Office. The internship offers flexible scheduling and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred.
• Ability to perform field work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs.
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles.
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications.
• Provide construction administration support.
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro.
