Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill is offering a 12-week paid summer internship for a civil engineering student in the Community Development group. You will support design teams on site design projects, working alongside diverse professionals in a collaborative environment.

The internship runs Monday through Friday with full-time hours during the summer and provides hands-on experience on real client projects, with emphasis on learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Prior CAD software experience preferred.
• Ability to perform field work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs.
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles.
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications.
• Provide construction administration support.
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro.

The Community group is looking for a civil engineering intern to assist design teams on various site design related projects.

Our internship program is a 12-week paid summer program. We offer in-depth work experience on real client projects. The successful candidate will work directly with the diverse technical experts of the Community Development group in a supportive and collaborative design team environment that seeks to maximize team member engagement. The position is full-time Monday through Friday.

The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting.
