Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team in College Park, GA. The role supports FAA ESA through design engineering, cost estimating, scheduling, coordinating, inspecting, and reporting progress against project goals and schedule.

This position located in College Park, GA offers 50% telework and up to 25% travel. You will plan and design a variety of facility projects, perform on-site surveys, prepare drawings, review

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree.
• Four years of experience in design and construction of commercial or institutional facilities, or a Masters with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Current knowledge of building codes.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency in engineering analysis and design software tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain public trust suitability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design facility establishment, replacement and modernization projects.
• Perform on-site surveys to develop designs and detailed reports.
• Conduct and analyze studies of existing facilities.
• Utilize software tools to assist in analysis and design.
• Prepare construction drawings and site-specific specifications and contract documents.
• Review contractor design and construction submittals.
• Manage multiple projects toward on-time completion.
• Provide periodic updates to team and stakeholders.
