AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer – Energy for a remote role based out of Oak Ridge, TN. You will design, analyze, and oversee infrastructure and nuclear-related structures, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 3+ years of experience, ideally in the nuclear sector, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in nuclear industry preferred.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and oversee infrastructure projects.
• Analyze safety and non-safety structures for nuclear and commercial projects.
• Interface with mechanical, nuclear, operations, and electrical teams for structural design.
• Apply codes, standards, and regulatory guidance to ensure compliant design.
• Perform engineering calculations including FEA to document code compliance.
• Assist in preparation and approval of design documents and project modifications.
