Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Design Manager to lead data center civil and utility infrastructure design across multiple sites in the US. You will oversee due diligence, campus planning, conceptual to construction documents, and construction administration for greenfield and add/move/change projects.

The role offers remote work flexibility, with attendance encouraged at an AECOM office when nearby, and periodic travel for client meetings and milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center due diligence, planning, and design teams; ensure on-schedule, high-quality delivery.
• Develop multi-site project and program management plans.
• Host client meetings and coordinate with external stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with creative solutions.
• Develop technical and financial proposals for new data center work.
• Coach junior staff and foster accountability and innovation.
