Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Program Manager for Data Center Site Strategy and Portfolio Development to plan, direct, and execute multiple projects supporting land development for next‑generation digital infrastructure. The role focuses on site development planning for data centers, with a remote-friendly schedule and occasional travel, based in the US where AECOM has offices.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage client relationships, and navigate zoning, permitting, and infrastructure processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field and 8 years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, planners, and consultants.
• Build trust with clients, communities and regulators.
• Support identification and evaluation of land opportunities for long-term data center growth.
• Ensure projects meet budgets and schedules.
• Drive due diligence, zoning, permitting, and offsite infrastructure processes.
• Deliver risk mitigation strategies and foster accountability.
