Job summary

AECOM in Phoenix, AZ seeks a talented Civil Design Manager to oversee greenfield and add/move/change projects for colocation and hyperscale data centers. You will manage design through construction documents and administration, coordinating with clients and stakeholders across multiple sites.

Remote work is eligible with some travel; office attendance is encouraged if near an AECOM office. Salary range $130,000–$180,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• Demonstrated experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center due diligence, planning, and design teams to deliver projects on schedule and to a high degree of quality.
• Develop and enforce multi-site project and program management plans.
• Host and attend meetings with clients and external stakeholders.
• Proactively manage and communicate change throughout the project.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with creative solutions.
• Develop technical and financial proposals for data center design projects.
