Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Program Manager for Data Center Site Strategy and Portfolio Development to plan, direct, and execute multiple projects supporting utility and land development for next‑generation digital infrastructure. Focus is on site development planning for data centers, with a remote-friendly schedule.

Remote work is allowed, with occasional in-person meetings and travel, and office attendance encouraged if nearby.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field with 8+ years in land development or project management.
• Demonstrated experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, planners, and consultants.
• Build trust with clients and regulators.
• Identify land opportunities aligned with long-term data center growth.
• Ensure projects meet budgets and schedules.
• Oversee due diligence, zoning, permitting, and entitlement processes.
• Deliver risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Promote accountability, innovation, and clear communication.
• Train and deploy ML-based PM platforms (AECOM’s AI4Eng).
