Job summary

Confidentiel in the United States seeks a Citrix Technical Lead and SME to serve as the technical authority for the organization’s Citrix environment, guiding architecture, design, implementation, and operations.

This hands-on leadership role requires moving between strategy, complex troubleshooting, project execution, and executive communication, while ensuring governance, security, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise Citrix environments.
• Hands-on experience with on-premises Citrix environments is required.
• Deep expertise with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Workspace, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, MCS, Provisioning, Gateway, and NetScaler.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, storage, identity and access management, DNS, certificates, and authentication technologies.
• Experience leading technical resources responsible for both project delivery and production operations.
• Automation and scripting with PowerShell to reduce repetitive operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization’s senior technical authority and primary SME for Citrix technologies and associated infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Citrix architecture, engineering standards, design patterns, roadmaps, and lifecycle strategies.
• Design and implement highly available, secure, and scalable Citrix solutions for enterprise workloads.
• Lead upgrades, migrations, modernization, capacity planning, performance optimization, and refresh initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements aligned with security and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide hands-on architecture, engineering, and implementation services for complex Citrix initiatives.
• Translate requirements into practical architectures and implementation plans.
• Lead technical planning, solution design, testing, deployment, validation, and transition to operations.
• Identify risks and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions are tested, documented, secured, and operationally supportable.
• Mentor resources and coordinate across project and operations teams.
• Establish technical standards and ensure consistency with enterprise requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and governance teams.
