Job summary

Optimal Blue is seeking a strategic Chief Information Officer to lead our enterprise technology, security, and product platform in a cloud-first, SaaS environment. You will shape the technology roadmap, govern programs, and partner with the CEO and executives to enable rapid, compliant innovation.

You will build and mentor global teams, optimize cloud spend with FinOps practices, and drive data governance, risk management, and auditable controls across the organization while maintaining customer

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership with ownership of enterprise technology strategy.
• SaaS/cloud-first environment experience with high availability.
• Strong experience building and leading cohesive teams.
• Deep Microsoft ecosystem expertise (Azure, Microsoft 365) and hybrid standardization.
• Excellent executive communication, translating tech to business outcomes.
• Experience with governance, controls, and audit readiness.
• M&A technology integration experience with due diligence and post-close stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s enterprise technology strategy aligned to business and product objectives.
• Serve as trusted advisor to the CEO on technology risks and investments.
• Establish technology governance, standards, and operating rhythms.
• Build and mentor high-performing IT and security teams.
• Promote reliability and continuous improvement across SaaS operations.
• Own security program and enterprise risk management.
• Lead cloud infrastructure and FinOps practices.
