Jobgether is seeking a strategic, hands‑on Chief Information Officer to lead technology strategy and executive IT leadership in a dynamic, public‑accounting‑adjacent environment. You will shape cloud migration, security, and digital transformation while aligning IT with business goals.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including direct responsibility for supporting business growth and translating business needs into creative technology solutions.
• Experience in public accounting or middle‑market professional services, ideally within a matrixed organizational structure.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational change, introducing new technologies and processes, and improving employee experiences.
• Proven experience migrating an organization to cloud‑based infrastructure and managing the adoption of new platforms.
• Ability to develop and execute technology strategies while remaining hands‑on with technical work to deliver complex initiatives.
• Strong focus on improving employee experience, effectiveness, and efficiency through technology innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively with people at all organizational levels and navigate professional services cultures and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and strategic priorities clearly to diverse audiences.
• Forward‑looking, collaborative, resilient leadership style with a commitment to learning, innovation, and positive organizational impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a forward‑looking IT strategy that supports growth and evolving operational needs.
• Lead and empower a customer‑focused IT organization that delivers measurable business value and strong relationships across the company.
• Drive digital transformation, introduce new technologies, and lead initiatives to boost productivity and employee experience.
• Define IT infrastructure and security strategy, including cloud, storage, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and software capabilities.
• Oversee IT supervisors responsible for infrastructure, security, vendor relationships, and internal technology support.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, prioritize investments, and propose technology solutions based on value.
• Assess organizational requirements, identify opportunities, and prioritize enhancements or alternatives.
• Oversee cloud migration and change management to promote effective adoption of new platforms and tools.
• Communicate technology strategy and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and manage risk in a public accounting environment.
• Support sustainability and community impact initiatives through technology and operational innovation.
