Job summary
Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. is hiring for a DevSecOps & CI/CD Engineer II/III in a remote role for the United States. You will build and evolve the enterprise CI/CD platform, integrating GitHub, Artifactory, and code scanning to enable faster, secure software delivery.
Strong coding skills and 5+ years in DevOps are required, with on-call rotation and Agile delivery expectations. The team explores AI-assisted workflows, Copilot capabilities, and agent-based automation to improve productivity,
Qualifications
- 5+ years in DevOps/software engineering building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong coding fundamentals in TS, Python, Java or similar.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or agent workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve the enterprise CI/CD platform including GitHub, Artifactory, and code scanning.
- Design and implement automated, self-service solutions to boost developer throughput.
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues and support CI/CD requests across teams.
- Participate in on-call rotation with after-hours incident support.
- Deliver Jira stories as part of an Agile team (daily scrums, sprint planning).
- Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted development and agent-based automation for the platform.
