Job summary

MISO is seeking a Release Engineer II in Indiana to drive automation across CI/CD, DevSecOps, AI, cloud, containers, and infrastructure-as-code. You will build and operate engineering platforms, secure delivery practices, and AI-enabled features supporting product teams with GitHub, Copilot, and Claude configurations.

Your responsibilities include implementing automated pipelines, developing IaC, monitoring deployments, and enforcing security gates to enable scalable, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD production platforms (GitHub Enterprise / GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on enabling AI tools at enterprise scale with focus on security and governance.
• Proficiency in Python and automation that reduces manual work.
• Experience integrating security controls and containerized workloads (Docker/Kubernetes) with cloud tools.

Responsibilities

• Enable AI capabilities across MISO and improve developer experience.
• Build, test, review, secure, deploy, and release software via automated pipelines.
• Develop software and infrastructure as code to automate manual tasks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines, environments, and tools for durable fixes.
• Integrate security gates and quality controls into workflows with cross-team collaboration.
