Job summary

Optum is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-powered tools for client onboarding and operational workflows in Bridgeton, MO. The role also includes real-time production triage, print-facility support, and mentoring engineers across cross-functional teams.

The candidate should have 3+ years with Oracle, SQL Server, and cloud platforms, plus 2+ years with Python, CI/CD, version control,

Qualifications

Requires at least three years of experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and a cloud platform.
Requires at least two years of Python development and CI/CD, version control, testing, deployment, and API testing experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; C# development, payment and print systems, Grafana, AI automation, Agile practices, mentoring, and technical demonstrations also preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications, database solutions, CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and AI-powered tools for client onboarding and operational workflows.
Provide real-time production triage and print-facility support.
Document and review technical designs, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
