Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. is seeking an Engineer I/II (Cloud Development and Data Warehouse) to advance containerized Java services and data integration for the Claims organization.

You will work across application, integration, and data layers, modernizing legacy systems and supporting production operations with a focus on microservices, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. Remote role with periodic in-person planning as needed.

Competenze

• Strong database and SQL skills with performance considerations.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot in microservices.
• Experience building/containerizing applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with data warehouse and ETL processes.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain containerized Java/Spring Boot apps.
• Create APIs connecting Claims apps and enterprise systems.
• Build event-driven integrations using Kafka.
• Develop SQL, ETL, and data processing solutions.
• Apply DevOps practices: CI/CD, testing, source control.
• Own production outcomes and troubleshoot incidents.
