Job summary

Nurture, a Pushpay company, seeks a Customer Success Manager to own onboarding and ongoing support for a growing book of churches. You will partner with the Head of Customer Experience to scale processes and shape the customer success function.

Travel for training will be required as you join with sales, training, and engineering teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from onboarding to long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Church/ministry experience is required or deep involvement in a local church.
• Experience in a customer-facing SaaS/tech role or similar leading implementations and ongoing relationships with organizational customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable leading meetings and producing clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day onboarding execution: securing customer access, coordinating with the dev team on technical setup, building onboarding templates, and moving projects from access to delivery.
• Partner with Head of Customer Experience as the through line for customers—joining sales calls, kickoff meetings, data practices conversations, strategy sessions, and training engagements.
• Run customer-facing meetings independently once strategy is defined, including monthly check-ins and relationship management for an assigned book of churches.
• Translate between customers and the dev team: communicate progress, follow up on what's complete, and minimize engineering interruptions.
• Help document processes—onboarding playbooks, support workflows, and training best practices—for scale.
• Identify automation opportunities (including AI) while preserving essential pastoral elements and human touch.
• Travel periodically for in-person training and customer engagements.
