Qualifications

• Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program with two years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a discipline relative to the program with four years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience as allowed by policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor licensed and unlicensed child care centers for compliance with licensing requirements.
• Investigate reports alleging violations and document findings.
• Assist providers in understanding and achieving compliance with state regulations.
• Review facility operations, records, and practices to verify adherence to health and safety standards.
• Prepare clear documentation and reports using Word, Excel, and related software.
• Communicate findings and regulatory guidance to providers professionally and supportively.
• Plan and manage daily workload across multiple counties independently.
• Respond to high-stress regulatory situations with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Coordinate follow-up activities to ensure timely corrective actions.
