Qualifications

• Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare regulatory documentation and organize case information.
• Experience conducting on-site reviews of child care environments and assessing compliance indicators.
• Ability to manage independent field-based workloads across multiple counties and meet regulatory timeframes.
• Proven effectiveness in resolving high-stress regulatory situations with clear communication and sound judgment.
• Experience evaluating provider practices by reviewing records and ensuring adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor child care centers and homes for licensing compliance through scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Investigate reports alleging licensing violations and document findings accurately.
• Help providers understand and achieve compliance with state regulations.
• Review facility operations and records to verify health, safety, and program standards.
• Prepare clear regulatory documentation and reports using Word, Excel and related tools.
• Communicate findings, expectations, and guidance to providers professionally.
• Plan daily workload independently to meet program expectations across counties.
• Respond to high-stress situations with calm, professional judgment.
• Coordinate follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain accurate records to support regulatory decisions and monitoring.
