Job summary

CDP, a Boston-based nonprofit fundraising and technology services organization, seeks a Chief Growth Officer to drive growth, partnerships, and market expansion across public media and adjacent markets. You will lead two senior leaders and shape the company’s growth, marketing, and innovation portfolio with a focus on donor engagement and revenue sustainability.

You will shape strategies, lead senior teams, and build scalable programs that align with CDP’s mission and impact.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in growth, business development, sales, partnerships, go-to-market strategy, or revenue leadership.
A track record of building or scaling a growth engine, including market strategy, demand generation, pipeline management, pricing, proposal development, and executive-level pursuits.
Experience leading an innovation or services portfolio from client discovery and validation through launch, partner management, and scale.
Experience setting B2B marketing direction and leading senior marketing leaders across brand, digital channels, thought leadership, conferences, content, and demand generation.

Responsibilities

Set the direction for growth by translating enterprise strategy into a go-to-market plan and identifying target markets and opportunities.
Build a repeatable growth engine with clear goals, quarterly targets, and key metrics like pipeline health and forecast accuracy.
Lead and coach business development, including pursuit planning, pricing inputs, and executive engagement.
Champion innovation by sponsoring CDP Labs and partnerships, guiding new fundraising and donor engagement services from discovery to scale.
Tell CDP’s story through marketing, thought leadership, and conferences to present a strong, coherent external presence.
Grow partnerships with vendors and industry players that deliver measurable value and sustainable economics.
Protect trust by defining handoffs across growth, sales, onboarding, delivery, and client experience.
Lead as an enterprise executive with clear decision rights and an operating rhythm aligned to CDP’s values.
