Job summary

MCW Health System is seeking a qualified professional to lead charge capture and coding activities under the Director of Billing & Collections. This role directs the team to maximize revenue, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements across the revenue cycle.

The position is primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings. Responsibilities include overseeing Epic pre-AR coding, claims, budgeting, staffing, coaching, and performance reviews while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience: 8 years in multi-payer physician reimbursement.
• Experience in academic medical setting preferred.
• Certification in coding or healthcare compliance strongly preferred (RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS-P, CHC).

Responsibilities

• Manage charge capture timelines and follow up.
• Oversee Epic pre-AR coding, claims, and account edits/work-queues.
• Develop and manage budget for the department.
• Schedule resources and supervise staff.
• Coach and conduct performance reviews; ensure ongoing training.
