Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in New York is seeking a Channel Presales Technical Architect to grow technical advocacy for HPE storage across our partner community. You’ll be the trusted technical advisor to top channel partners, helping their teams design and deliver storage and data protection solutions that drive pipeline and revenue growth.

You will join deep-dive discussions with partners and customers to translate needs into architected solutions, deliver compelling presentations and demos,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of technical presales with a storage vendor or channel partner.
• Hands-on experience in pitching, demos and architecting storage solutions.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/KVM) and at least two application stacks (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, SAP).
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud); certifications preferred.
• Expertise across the data lifecycle: block, file, backup, ransomware protection.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with partner technical and sales teams and become the go-to resource for HPE storage.
• Grow partner engineers' ability to position, demo and design storage solutions through enablement sessions and labs.
• Identify technical champions within partner organisations and support their progress through certifications and program requirements.
• Represent HPE at partner events, tech days and customer-facing briefings.
• Translate partner needs into architected solutions and PoCs.
• Develop competitive strategies with partners to win against competitors.
• Drive storage opportunities and keep pipeline information current for partners.
• Ensure smooth handoffs from sales to implementation with training needs.
