Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation seeks a Change Manager to oversee enterprise change governance across development, test, staging, and production, ensuring compliant ITIL-based processes and disciplined change activities.

The Change Manager leads the Change Control Board, evaluates risk and impact, coordinates readiness with DevSecOps, security, and application teams, and guides teams through standard and emergency workflows in a fully remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of IT change management or enterprise governance experience.
• Experience leading ITIL-based change control processes for federal/DoD environments.
• Experience running or supporting a Change Control Board (CCB).
• Experience evaluating technical changes for risk and impact.
• Experience coordinating change readiness across multiple technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full change management lifecycle, enforcing ITIL-aligned processes for change requests, approvals, and implementation.
• Run the Change Control Board (CCB), prepare agendas, facilitate decisions, and record outcomes.
• Evaluate proposed changes for risk, impact, dependencies, and alignment with mission priorities.
• Ensure changes are documented, reviewed, tested, approved, and scheduled before implementation.
• Manage emergency changes, including rapid assessment and expedited approvals.
• Coordinate with release management, DevSecOps, infrastructure, security, and applications teams.
• Maintain change calendar, implementation timelines, and change freezes.
• Track change metrics, trends, and audit results for continuous improvement.
• Ensure change records are complete and compliant with federal/DoD requirements.
• Assist in post-implementation reviews to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance on change governance procedures.
