a la C.A.R.T.E. Solutions is seeking a seasoned CFO advisory leader to guide manufacturing clients across a portfolio.

You will own client relationships, analyze financials, and provide actionable recommendations while mentoring Controllers and accountants to elevate the firm’s manufacturing credibility. You will drive end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, and capital strategies, partnering with operations leaders to connect cost data to strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial advisory, strategic accounting, or CFO services in manufacturing.
• Hands-on expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and profitability by product/customer.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end client relationships and provide strategic financial guidance.
• Lead cost accounting structures and variance analysis for margins by product, line, and customer.
• Oversee inventory accounting, costing methods, and obsolescence reserves, improving turns and accuracy.
• Translate plant data into financial decisions and KPI dashboards linking plant floor to P&L.
• Lead capex analysis, make-vs-buy decisions, and working capital strategy; manage lender relationships.
• Build pricing and quoting models considering raw materials, tariffs, and supplier terms.
• Help clients optimize ERP/MRP systems to ensure data flows into financial reporting.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and drive client satisfaction; mentor client teams.
