Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a freelance CFD engineer to train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations. You will work remotely, import CAD geometry, set up simulations, run analyses, and build verified reference solutions.

You will write Python checks for results, perform mesh verification and validation, and contribute to a global platform delivering high-quality CFD solutions. English at B2+ is required; PhD is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field; PhD preferred but not required.
• Several years of hands-on CFD with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
• Solid verification and validation practices: mesh-independence studies and benchmarking.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub; English at B2 level or above.
