Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a remote freelance CFD specialist to help train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks. You will take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, build verified reference solutions, and write Python checks for the agent's results.

Requirements include a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree (PhD preferred), extensive CFD experience with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, solid verification/validation practices, Python and GitHub, and English at

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Several years of hands-on CFD with OpenFOAM, Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
• Solid verification and validation practice: mesh-independence studies and validation against experiments or benchmarks.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.
