Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an Aerodynamics Expert contractor to support an AI training project involving CFD, aerodynamic analysis, engineering simulations, and Python. The role is global and remote, with ~15 hrs/week and flexible scheduling.

You will develop computational models, run CFD workflows, validate results, and review AI-generated engineering solutions for technical accuracy. Strong aerodynamics/CFD background with OpenFOAM/SU2/Gmsh/FEniCSx experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or BS + 1–2 years aerodynamics experience.
• Strong aerodynamics and CFD knowledge with practical Python experience.
• Experience with CLI/programmatic tools like OpenFOAM, SU2, Gmsh, FEniCSx, SciPy, or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics problems.
• Develop computational models, geometries, meshes, and solver configurations.
• Run and automate CFD workflows using Python and CLI-based tools.
• Analyze lift, drag, pressure, velocity, and other simulation results.
• Review AI-generated engineering solutions for technical accuracy.
