Job summary

micro1 is seeking Aerodynamics Experts to support an AI training project involving CFD, aerodynamic analysis, engineering simulations, and Python. No prior AI experience is required.

You will solve aerodynamic problems, develop computational models, run CFD workflows with Python and CLI tools, and review AI-generated solutions for technical accuracy. This is a remote, contractor position.

Expected schedule is about 15 hours per week with flexible hours; compensation is hourly, $80–$130.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or BS with 1–2 years of aerodynamics experience.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics problems.
• Develop computational models, geometries, meshes, and solver configurations.
• Run and automate CFD workflows using Python and CLI-based tools.
• Analyze lift, drag, pressure, velocity, and other simulation results.
• Diagnose mesh, convergence, stability, turbulence, and boundary-condition issues.
• Perform validation, sanity checks, and mesh-independence studies.
• Review AI-generated engineering solutions for technical accuracy.
