Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an Aerodynamics Expert to support an AI training project with CFD, aerodynamic analysis, engineering simulations, and Python. The role is contractor-based with global remote work and ~15 hours per week, offering flexible scheduling and a pay rate of $80–$130 per hour.

Responsibilities include solving CFD problems, building computational models and meshes, running workflows, and validating results.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, or BS + 1–2 years of relevant aerodynamics experience.
• Strong aerodynamics and CFD knowledge with practical Python experience.
• Experience with CLI/programmatic tools such as OpenFOAM, SU2, Gmsh, FEniCSx, SciPy, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics problems.
• Develop computational models, geometries, meshes, and solver configurations.
• Run and automate CFD workflows using Python and CLI-based tools.
• Analyze lift, drag, pressure, velocity, and other simulation results.
• Diagnose mesh, convergence, stability, turbulence, and boundary-condition issues.
• Perform validation, sanity checks, and mesh-independence studies.
• Review AI-generated engineering solutions for technical accuracy.
